Chiang Mai Street Food

We live off an avenue (soi) of Suthep Road, one of the main arteries of Chiang Mai. The back gate of Chiang Mai University is on this road and therefore it’s a very local, untouristy, student-populated area where we get lots of stares and smiles.

Luckily for us, Suthep Road comes alive at night with countless street food vendors. Everything is cheap cheap and as authentic as you can get. It’s so fun to stroll along the road and gaze at all the different foods while you decide what you want for dinner.

Below are a few of my recent street food dinners. All meals were less than $2, most being only around $1. All meals were delicious.
